"Your choices of select Italian cured meats: Soppressata, Mortadella, Genoa salami or Capicola, served with a thick slice of grilled sweet onion, melted Provolone cheese and RR Italian Peppers on warm Ciabatta bread" - Rose Romano

Ingredients


1 small Sweet Onion

1 tbsp of Olive Oil

2-3 thin slices each of your selections of Italian cured meats

2 tbsp of RR Italian Peppers

3 slices Provolone cheese

 

Instructions

Peel one small sweet onion and cut in ½ inch thick slices.

Season onion slices with 1 TBS of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. In a small pan on medium low heat, grill onions until golden brown on both sides, turning over once, keeping the slices intact.

Assemble sandwich: one half of bread, 1 TBS RR Italian Peppers, grilled onion slices, 2-3 thin slices each of your selections of Italian cured meats, three slices Provolone cheese, 1 TBS RR Italian Peppers and other half of bread.

Heat in microwave 20-30 seconds to melt cheese and warm Ciabatta bread.
