"Grilled Italian sausage and seasoned slices of zucchini with melted Provolone cheese and RR Italian Peppers on warm Italian bread" - Rose Romano


6 oz. Italian Sausage Patty

1 tbsp of Olive Oil

1 small Zucchini unpeeled

2 tbsp of RR Italian Peppers

3 slices of Provolone Cheese


In small nonstick pan, fry Italian sausage patty (6 oz.).

Take one small zucchini (unpeeled) and cut lengthwise in ½ inch thick slices. Season slices with 1 TBS olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.

In the same pan on medium high heat, grill the zucchini for 1-2 minutes on each side, being careful not to overcook.

Assemble sandwich: one piece of the bread, 1 TBS RR Italian Peppers, sausage patty, three slices Provolone cheese, slices of zucchini, 1 TBS RR Italian Peppers and other piece of bread.

Heat in microwave for 20-30 seconds to melt cheese and warm bread.
